Do you keep track of your company's carbon footprint? Decarbonization is of central importance for climate protection. However, many companies lack the knowledge, time and menpower to effectively implement the reduction of CO2 emissions.
At OPTENDA, we support companies in this process of CO2 management. From greenhouse gas balancing (CCF and PCF) to CO2 compensation measures, we help our customers transform into carbon neutral companies. In addition to our expertise, our CO2 Monitor Software is the central tool for this.

Support for the reduction of CO2 and greenhouse gas emissions
Achieve your climate targets faster and easier.
Whether it's preparing a balance sheet or tracking reduction measures—our team of experts will make your CO2 management more efficient so that CO2 savings can be achieved more quickly and effectively. Always a part of it: our CO2 Monitor Software for simple but effective CO2 management.
Data collection & preparation of the CO2 balance
CO2 and greenhouse gas emissions are generated in every area of the company, whether operational or administrative. The data collection required for thecarbon footprint is therefore very extensive and involves a great deal of effort. Ongoing plausibility checks of the recorded data are important to ensure that this is not duplicated due to errors. Benefit from our experience here!
Identification of reduction measures
Once the current situation has been assessed with the CO2 balance sheet, the next step is to improve it. To do this, the balance sheet is examined for potential CO2 reductions. This also provides indications of where there is a greater need for action to reduce greenhouse gases. This information is then used to derive appropriate reduction measures, which are evaluated primarily in terms of cost and CO2 savings.
Implementation and monitoring of measures
Once the CO2 reduction measures have been prioritized accordingly, they are implemented. This also includes ongoing target/actual comparisons and subsequently checking whether the planned savings have actually been achieved or whether the measures need to be adjusted.
Creation of Corporate Carbon Footprint & Product Carbon Footprint
With regard to the scope of a carbon footprint, there are two basic dimensions: the Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF) and the Product Carbon Footprint (PCF). The procedure described above also forms the basis here. Find out more about CCF and PCF:
