For companies that want to successfully implement their climate strategy
Make your work in CO2 and sustainability management easier:
Our CO2 management software CO2 Monitor provides you with the right tool for this. From the simple and intuitive creation of the current CO2 balance for your company and/or for your products to the detailed development of an individual strategy for saving greenhouse gases, you can plan and implement everything in the CO2 Monitor Software.
Create transparency in your CO2 emissions, prepare yourself for requests for CO2 reports and identify potential savings. Test the software now free of charge and without obligation:

All information clearly arranged
Create the basis for your climate strategy with the creation of an up-to-date carbon footprint. The CO2 Monitor guides you intuitively and simply through the entire data collection process and generates a finished CO2 balance sheet in PDF format as a result. The greenhouse gas balance in the software follows the structure of the GHG Protocol and divides all emissions into Scopes 1 to 3—into direct and indirect emissions of the company as well as indirect emissions along the entire value chain.
The carbon footprint also contains all other relevant data, such as documentation on the emission factors used. This means that the information does not have to be laboriously recorded or compiled. Once all the data for the balance sheet has been recorded, the software creates a finished PDF report with the visually prepared data in clear charts and tables.

Company and product-related CO2 balancing

The Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF) provides information on company-wide CO2 emissions. This CO2 balance is the basis for a credible corporate climate strategy.
The Product Carbon Footprint (PCF ) breaks down greenhouse gas emissions at product level and considers the entire life cycle. Its disclosure is now a standard requirement in many industries.
With the CO2 Monitor, you can easily determine the CCF as well as any number of PCFs and simply update them regularly.
Simple creation and management of CO2 savings strategies
Use the CO2 Monitor to develop the strategy that will enable your company to achieve its climate targets. To do this, you can create as many scenarios as you like in the software, which can be enriched with different measures for implementation. The software helps you to calculate which measure will save how much CO2. This allows you to decide which scenario is best suited for achieving your goals. The scenarios and measures are visualized in a clear waterfall diagram. The timetable provides an overview of the entire strategy.
A finished balance sheet in just a few clicks
Data is entered in the CO2 Monitor using ready-made forms and input fields. Manual programming of formulas and calculations, such as in Excel files or similar applications, is therefore no longer necessary.
With the software, you can complete your CO2 balance with just a few clicks. You can follow the individual steps in the software in the video:
Flexible & customizable
Use the CO2 Monitor to create as many balances as you need and to what extent you need them:
For one or more locations
You can create a carbon footprint for a company, for a single location or for several different locations.
Number of balances as required
Whether per month, quarter or year: you can decide how often you want to carry out the CO2 balancing or how many you want to create.
All data centralized in one place
The CO2 Monitor is linked to the DEFRA and ProBas databases (database of the Federal Environment Agency), which ensures that the emission factors are up to date.
It is also possible to integrate your own databases into the software. This means that all relevant data can be accessed centrally, saving you a lot of time!
Available language versions of the software
The CO2 Monitor is available in the following languages:
- German
- English
- Italian
- Spanish
- French
- Portuguese
The language versions are continuously being expanded by our internal software development team. Do you need a specific language? Please feel free to contact us!
Software FAQ
Frequently asked questions about the CO2 Monitor at a glance
The software was developed to simplify CO2 balancing for companies. The structure of the CO2 Monitor is therefore designed in such a way that even users without extensive prior knowledge in the field can create a CO2 balance independently. The guided process makes creating a carbon footprint much easier and less prone to errors, especially when compared to creating a carbon footprint using Excel.
Of course, we don't leave our customers to fend for themselves: every new customer receives an onboarding session that not only introduces them to the software, but also provides an understanding of the entire CO2 management process.
All greenhouse gas emissions caused by the company can be recorded in the CO2 Monitor. In addition to CO2, it is also possible to balance other greenhouse gases (including methane, nitrous oxide, CFCs, etc.) using CO2 equivalents (CO2e). The emissions are divided into the three scopes of the GHG Protocol.
What the user does not have to worry about is other data such as emission or conversion factors. These are automatically stored thanks to the connection to official databases. The CO2 Monitor also automatically calculates the savings measures once the framework conditions have been selected.
The CO2 Monitor provides a detailed CO2 balance sheet that takes into account all the emissions caused by the company. The software does not make any specific recommendations for action—it provides all the information and transparency required to derive measures forreducing CO2 emissions. In the planning area for the development of savings strategies, a company can use this data to define individual measures to reduce CO2 emissions.
Yes, the CO2 Monitor is suitable for effective CO2 management in all sectors.
A user license for the CO2 Monitor is available both as a purchase and as a rental model. In both cases, experience has shown that the software pays for itself within a year due to the significantly lower costs and the avoidance of errors when entering data.

The combined software solution for sustainable energy, cost and CO2 savings: For many companies, energy consumption is responsible for the largest proportion of CO2 emissions. Reducing consumption therefore also reduces CO2 emissions. In order to implement this sustainably, a detailed overview of the energy flows in the company is required. This allows the use of energy to be precisely adapted to demand—increasing energy efficiency and reducing energy consumption.
Do you want to improve your company's CO2 balance? Then be sure to take a look at our energy management software Energy Monitor. Both software solutions, the Energy Monitor and the CO2 Monitor, are compatible with each other and together unfold their full potential.
